New Trends and Issues Proceedings on Humanities and Social Sciences

 
 
While studying the analysis of the different treatment of boys and girls in the classroom, theoretical perspectives are the best. A theoretical perspective is a group of thoughts about existence that lead the inquiries we pose and the afterwards determinations (Shah and Ishfaq Khan). Sociological perspectives aid sociologists throughout the development of the questionnaire and the analysis of findings. 
A sociologist researching why middle-school females underperform in math and sciences compared to male students would approach my study from a feminist viewpoint (Kaba). It is essential to use this perspective to find out how female students interact and are treated during the teaching of these technical subjects compared to male students and to propose methods perhaps to tackle and eliminate oppressive attitudes against these subjects. The feminist perspective is accommodating and pliable for oppressed groups, like why teachers favour male students in classroom discussions. The problem with this perspective is that it will focus on one group living out the other group. 
A conflict viewpoint will be used when studying why girls are underrepresented in classroom leadership. This perspective aspires for society to function so that everybody or any group involved may produce the ultimate use of gains, resulting in long-term social reforms. Conflict perspective  moral goals are to free humanity from erroneous claims of “inclusivity.” The conflict perspective is more effective at describing social reform but less effective at interpreting social stability (Schweingruber). The failure of conflict perspective to explain societal stability and gradual change is being criticized.
 While an interactive perspective will be used when studying how boys treat girls during group discussions. Individuals’ behaviours in the community and their belief that significance is created through interpersonal relationships. Gender segregation, as per interactionists, arises when individuals act toward one another based on the perceptions they hold towards each other (Wisselgren). Instead of categorizing people societal groupings, dealing with a person. Helps us in measuring our behaviour with that of other individuals. It assists us in comprehending the modern global concept. In this scenario, interactive perspective has two flaws: since it is so focused on one group, it overlooks more significant structural issues, power structures, and societal disparities.
