Corporate social responsibilities (CSR) might be deemed a model that extracts the facet of accountability and responsibility from a company with respect to its activities to and for the public society. Corporate citizenship might be integrated by companies such as the Manchester Law firm through the performance of CSR initiatives. The present law firm, Manchester Law, has realised the essentiality of CSR activities to the sustainability of the business. It realised that its public brand image could be adequately enhanced with the aid of the CSR activities performed by it. Besides this, it would raise the confidence of the UK government in the business, thereby reducing the extent of government control and intervention in the business operations. The Manchester Law firm has essentially proved its realisation of the need for CSR actions by integrating ‘Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. This CSR action has ensured that the composition of its new and existing employees will remain unbarred irrespective of religion, race, colour and nationality (digitalmarketinginstitute, 2021). It has also been welcoming to newly graduated interns like Sam himself.There were two other CSR initiatives that this firm has adopted to show its extent of seriousness regarding its sustainability. One was the attempt to improve its labour policies and regulations within its own firm, while the other was to participate in fair trading (BENZ, 2022). The trading activities need to remain fair, especially since Manchester Law operates as a law firm or consultancy. Hence, people approach this firm to gain fair techniques of justice. Moreover, the initiatives of CSR involve providing a fair labour practice. This will make the Manchester Law firm follow the business ethics, which are moral principles followed by any firm while operating its business activities (Stobierski, 2021). The firms need to follow the CSR initiative to ensure their labour that it follows various regulations and rules related to the labour. This will lead the labours to work in an efficient manner and have employment safety within the firms. The firms need to follow a fair-trade practice which makes them initiate a movement that will lead them to diverge their network of various customers, producers, advocates and organisations in the markets. The firms which follow the fair-trade practices to ensure a system of better trading among the countries will help them to improve their operational activities (ROMERO, 2021). This will further enhance the firms brand image within the markets and also lead them to earn more revenues. Thus, the firms need to follow the CSR initiatives seriously and perform their various activities efficiently. The firms which do not take the CSR initiative seriously face some organisational problems such as lobbying and monopoly behaviour.
